Russell Standard seeks a Plant Operator to support daily production in our asphalt emulsions facility in Ohio. The role covers opening and closing valves, operating equipment, and performing basic preventive maintenance.

You will work with laboratory and sales personnel, lift up to 50 pounds, endure outdoor conditions, and follow safety policies. Overtime and flexible scheduling may be required, with opportunities for skill growth.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong math and reading skills and ability to read technical manuals.
• 2 years production/maintenance experience or related industry experience or completion of mechanical/industrial trade school program.
• Aptitude for learning new tasks and skills.

Aufgaben

• Opens and closes valves for product transfers.
• Performs general preventative maintenance of pump and valve systems.
• Operates equipment.
• Inspects tanks periodically.
• Troubleshoots mechanics of plant systems.
• Weighs trucks, pre- and post-loading.
• Loads emulsion trucks.
• General Labor.
• Follows all safety policies and practices.
• All other duties as assigned.

Kenntnisse
