Job summary

Carlisle is hiring a Mixing and Blending Operator in Kentucky to set up, operate and tend emulsion mixing processes. You will handle materials, adjust formulations, and monitor equipment to ensure quality and safety.

You will also transfer materials, run pumps, and perform cleaning and maintenance of equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Prior manufacturing teamwork and forklift operation are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality essential.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on technical ability helpful.
• Forklift operation experience with propane-powered forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weigh or measure materials to meet specifications.
• Compound or process ingredients according to formulas.
• Read work orders to determine production specs.
• Observe equipment for safe and efficient operation.
• Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for set times.
• Dump/pour materials into machinery as required.
• Collect samples for laboratory testing.
• Operate or tend machines to mix/blend various materials.
• Add or mix chemicals using hand tools or devices.
• Stop mixers when product specs are reached and transfer mixtures.
