Job summary

Google LLC in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an Emulation Operations Engineer to design, maintain, and improve the emulation lab IT infrastructure and related cloud-to-lab data transfer workflows. You will work on CI flows, schedulers (Slurm/LSF/PBS), and lab automation, contributing to scalable, reliable hardware simulations and high-performance computing environments at Google scale.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience with emulation CAD operations.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, maintain and automate the IT infrastructure for the emulation lab, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and workstations.
Explore and implement novel emulation workflows and methodologies including data transfer, schedulers and automated end-to-end regression flows.
Participate in on-call rotation and monitor production distributed computing infrastructure, troubleshooting advanced technical issues within a Linux environment.
Manage relationships with vendors for hardware, software, and support contracts.
