Intuitive is a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care, renowned for the da Vinci system and Ion. We seek a Software Engineer to advance the emulation and automated testing capabilities on onsite teams, balancing new features with existing support and evolving system software.

Ideal candidates have strong Python and C++ skills, experience debugging complex systems, and can thrive in a high-energy environment.

Competenze

Minimum of 5 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years of experience and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience
Experience understanding and debugging complex systems
Experience using Python and C++
Proficient communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of talented engineers.

Mansioni

Expand the functionality of the internal da Vinci emulator by faithfully emulating embedded computers, microcontrollers, sensors, FPGAs, or physics models
Maintain operation of automated test rigs. The primary task involves debugging the integration of multiple software systems within the test rig.
Assist in the development of an internal test framework for informal continuous integration and formal verification and validation of system software.
Learn and explore the continuously evolving da Vinci system software and firmware.
