Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is seeking an EMT Transport to join the Emergency Services team in Kissimmee. You will assist the Paramedic in safe patient transport and care, respond to EMS requests, and coordinate with clinicians to ensure timely treatment.

Under supervision of a Paramedic or RN, you will perform duties per protocol and participate in the hospital's patient transport operations while providing compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Driver License is required.
• Paramedic, or EMT-State, or CMA/CCMA/NRCMA/RMA certification options are accepted.
• Certificate or Associate Degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Paramedic in rendering safe and effective treatment and transport of Osceola Hospital patients.
• Respond to EMS Call-Center requests and coordinate with healthcare providers.
• Provide care under the direction of a Paramedic or RN in the Emergency Department.
• Perform duties per job description, medical protocols, and departmental policies.
