Job summary

Hartford HealthCare CESI Training Specialist location details: 22 Jefferson St, Hartford, CT. Primarily evenings—6-10p weekdays and Saturdays 8a-4p, with possible daytime shifts. The role focuses on EMS training for healthcare professionals and maintaining compliance with AHA/OEMS/OSHA standards.

You will prepare instructional areas, support faculty, teach and evaluate psychomotor skills, and ensure up-to-date knowledge of BLS protocols and national standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an EMT training program
• Minimum 3+ years experience as EMS Provider and in training healthcare professionals.
• BLS provider and BLS Instructor

Responsibilities

• Prepares instructional areas
• Maintains student records and course documentation
• Assist faculty to teach curriculum to students
• Instruct and evaluate student psychomotor skills
• Demonstrate current knowledge of EMS Basic Life Support education standards, scope of practice and local protocols, adhere to National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
