Job summary

Backus Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks a seasoned Paramedic with credentialing, education, and CQI leadership under medical control. This role focuses on credentialing, education programs, and continuous quality improvement for prehospital EMS clinicians.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree or equivalent, a Connecticut paramedic license, and at least five years’ experience as a paramedic with training expertise.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience at the paramedic level, with education and training expertise.
• EMSI, ACLS, PALS, Current State of Connecticut Licensed Paramedic

Responsibilities

• Manages the credentialing, education, and CQI of prehospital EMS clinicians under the Backus medical control.
