Job summary

Covenant Health EMS is seeking a PRN EMT to respond to medical emergencies and interfacility transports in Tennessee. The EMT provides triage, assessment, and emergency care within the scope of practice, and collaborates with Covenant Health centers to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities include documenting patient information, coordinating with dispatch, and performing routine vehicle checks. Local travel is required and ongoing Covenant Health training is expected.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years EMS or healthcare experience preferred.
• TN EMS license OR a valid, unrestricted license in any Compact state.
• Valid driver's license and state minimum insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies and transport needs in pre-hospital and interfacility settings.
• Perform triage and initial survey; provide emergency care as within scope.
• Document patient info and treatment for continuing care.
• Maintain vehicles and restock supplies after each call.
• Adhere to Covenant Health EMS dress code and training requirements.
• Travel locally as needed and follow safety policies.
