Job summary

Regions Hospital seeks an EMT to support urgent patient care, coordinate transport, and communicate with EMS, fire, and police teams. You will help assess and prioritize patient needs and ensure safe transfer to receiving facilities or home.

Requirements include MN EMT certification, current BLS, and the ability to complete DOT STS training within 45 days of hire. A high school diploma or GED is required, and a valid MN driver’s license is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMT certified in MN.
• Current AHA BLS Healthcare provider certification.
• Must complete MN DOT STS training within 45 days of hire.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license within state of residency.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, and prioritize care for patients upon EMS arrival.
• Coordinate care and transportation to receiving facility or patient home; communicate with EMS, fire, and police as needed.
• Document patient care in the required system and maintain a safe environment.
