Ridgeview is seeking an on-call Emergency Medical Technician to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, provide pre-hospital care, and transport patients within designated hours. The role emphasizes rapid availability, adherence to medical control, and maintaining equipment readiness.

The position requires EMT certification, a valid MN driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Base proximity and community presence in Belle Plaine area are preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to meet Ridgeview's insurability requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and teambuilding skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic life support as needed in compliance with state, local and Ridgeview procedures.
• Establish rapport with patients and families to ensure safe, respectful transport.
• Respond to emergencies by selecting routes, monitoring traffic, and maintaining dispatcher communications.
• Complete reports accurately.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; report needed repairs.
