Job summary

Ridgeview is seeking a qualified paramedic to respond to routine and emergency requests, assess patients, provide treatment, and coordinate transportation within the medical control authority. You will operate ambulances, ensure safety, and participate in community events under Ridgeview policies.

Responsibilities include data collection, direct patient care, handoffs to other providers, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current Minnesota Paramedic certification.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes assessment data.
• Provides direct/indirect patient care per SOPs.
• Transfers patient care to other qualified providers.
• Maintains safe working environment with preventive safety measures.
• Operates and maintains ambulance and base; performs safety checks.
• Provides services for community events and public relations.
• Assists in departmental managerial duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties; as supply/equipment coordinator, orders medical supplies weekly and maintains par levels, processes supply orders, coordinates repairs and maintenance, and supports fleet service.
