Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time EMT Fire Response Driver in Peoria, IL. You will patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, monitor access, respond to incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while following site protocols.

This role requires EMT certification, firefighting experience, and a valid driver’s license. You will work Tue/Wed/Thu nights and be part of a team that values integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

• EMT certification is required.

• Valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen as per policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide security-related procedures and emergency response at a manufacturing/industrial site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and access concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities, offices, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document activities and report findings.
• Document patrols and incidents; communicate with leadership and site contacts.

Security Officer Full Time EMT Fire Response Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time EMT Fire Response Driver in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a current EMT certification.
• Possess previous firefighting experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
