ICON is seeking an EMT/Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant (Medical Research Associate) to join our San Antonio, on-site team. The role focuses on delivering high-standard clinical research operations and data handling within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating trials, literature support, data entry, and preparing reports. Candidates should have relevant medical certifications and strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills for effective stakeholder

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with medical assistant training/certification or allied health certification.
• Certified Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant OR EMT with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to data collection and documentation.
• Proficiency with research software and tools for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with researchers and stakeholders.

Shift/Schedule

Seeking candidates who can work a minimum 4 days/week. The targeted schedule of availability is Mon-Sunday during 6 AM-4 PM.

What You Will Do

Your role will involve delivering clinical research operations work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the planning and execution of clinical trials and research studies, including data collection and management.
• Supporting the research team with literature reviews, data entry, and analysis to inform study protocols and findings.
• Maintaining accurate and organized research documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of research tasks and adherence to study timelines.
• Assisting with the preparation of research reports, manuscripts, and presentations for internal and external stakeholder

Your Profile

Required qualifications and experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalency with medical assistant training/certification or other allied health certification
• Certified Phlebotomist/ Medical Assistant OR EMT with 2+ years of experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail in data collection and documentation.
• Proficiency with research software and tools for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
