Job summary

ICON plc, a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization, seeks a Clinical Research Associate for the Dallas area. The role involves active site monitoring, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing site documentation in CTMS/eTMF.

Travel up to 50% across the south region is expected, with preference for candidates near Dallas, TX. You will work with cross-functional partners to maintain data quality and support patient safety, recruitment, and site payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences orRN and eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• 2+ years of on-site monitoring experience in pharma/CRO.
• Experience across multiple therapeutic areas; proficient in ICH-GCP and local regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between investigational sites and sponsor.
• Conduct site visits: selection, initiation, routine monitoring, close-out.
• Ensure site compliance with ICH-GCP, SOPs and regulations.
• Maintain documentation in CTMS and eTMF.
• Monitor patient safety and timely AE/SAE/PQC reporting.
• Support subject recruitment and retention at the site level.
• Oversee drug accountability and proper storage/destruction.
• Document site progress and escalate risks to the clinical team.
• Track site budgets and payments where applicable.
