Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to emergency and non-emergency medical transportation calls.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with state regulations, clinical protocols, and company policies.
• Safely operate and maintain an assigned ambulance.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor patient conditions throughout transport.
• Provide appropriate emergency medical care within the EMT scope of practice.
• Complete accurate patient care reports and all required documentation.
• Ensure the ambulance is clean, properly stocked, and ready for deployment at all times.
• Inspect medical equipment and supplies to ensure operational readiness.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, patients, families, and fellow team members.
• Assist patients with safe lifting, movement, loading, and unloading procedures.
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect when interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
