Position Overview – Part-Time Night Shift

We are currently searching for a skilled, dependable, and compassionate Paramedic to join our team in Newark, Ohio.

As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing advanced life support (ALS), emergency medical care, and non-emergency medical transportation services throughout the region.

This part-time night shift opportunity is ideal for Paramedics looking for a rewarding position with competitive hourly compensation and scheduling flexibility.

You will support emergency responses, hospital transfers, interfacility transports, and other essential patient transportation needs during overnight operational hours.

Compensation – Competitive Night Shift Pay

• Base hourly rate: $26.00
• Night shift differential: Additional $2.00 per hour
• Total night shift pay: $28.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to emergency and non-emergency medical calls.
• Provide advanced life support (ALS) and appropriate emergency medical interventions within the Paramedic scope of practice.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and perform advanced medical procedures in accordance with applicable state regulations, clinical protocols, and medical direction.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care while maintaining clinical standards.
• Safely operate and maintain an assigned ambulance.
• Inspect and maintain medical equipment, supplies, and medications to ensure operational readiness.
• Complete accurate patient care reports and all required medical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, medical personnel, and fellow team members.
• Assist with safe patient lifting, movement, loading, and unloading procedures.
• Ensure the ambulance is clean, organized, properly stocked, and ready for deployment.
• Follow all applicable safety standards, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and compassion when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
