Job summary

Medcor is hiring a full-time Onsite Health Technician (LPN/EMT/Paramedic) at the FedEx Indianapolis Airport location. You will provide first aid, triage, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses while supporting employee health in a fast-paced onsite clinic.

You'll work four days a week (Monday–Thursday) with a consistent schedule, and you will have access to Medcor's remote support and clinical resources to back you up as needed.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/EMT/Paramedic licensure applicable to the position.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently with strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, and other technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, triage, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using Medcor’s evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Support daily clinic operations and maintain documentation using EMR systems.
• Coordinate care with outside medical providers, urgent care centers, and hospitals when needed.
• Partner with client Safety, Human Resources, and Benefits professionals to support employee health and wellness.

Medcor is looking to hire a full-time LPN, EMT, or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer-based occupational health clinic at the FedEx Indianapolis Airport location.

This is a great opportunity for a healthcare professional who enjoys hands-on patient care but is looking for a consistent schedule, competitive pay, and a different way to use their clinical skills. You'll work a four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday, providing onsite care and support to employees in a fast-paced work environment.

In this role, you'll provide first aid, triage, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses while supporting employee health and wellness. You'll also help manage the day-to-day operations of the onsite clinic and partner closely with the client's Safety and Human Resources teams.

You'll work independently onsite, but you won't be on your own—support is available remotely from your Medcor Operations Manager, clinical resources, and other Medcor team members.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Medcor Onsite Health Technician

Clinical Care & Injury Management

Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses

Evaluate injured employees and guide care using Medcor's evidence-based treatment protocols

Respond to workplace medical situations and coordinate additional care when appropriate

Support ongoing workers' compensation case management

Assist with Return-to-Work efforts and treatment plan monitoring

Coordinate care with outside medical providers, urgent care centers, and hospitals when needed

Support employee health, wellness, and education initiatives

Clinic Operations

Manage daily clinic operations and health service functions

Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records and other systems

Order and maintain clinic supplies

Follow established clinical, operational, and compliance processes

Support OSHA recordkeeping and required documentation

Partner with client Safety, Human Resources, and Benefits professionals

Build strong relationships with employees and client stakeholders

Provide exceptional customer service to the client and their employees

Complete general administrative responsibilities associated with the onsite clinic

What You'll Need

Current LPN, EMT, or Paramedic licensure/certification applicable to the position

Current CPR/BLS certification

Ability to work independently with strong time-management and organizational skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, and other technology

Ability to lift a 50-pound emergency response bag

A positive, professional, and patient-focused approach

Passion for providing excellent care and creating a positive employee experience

Occupational health or worksite clinic experience

Workers' compensation or case management experience

Experience working independently in a clinical environment
