Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks an EMT-Paramedic to provide advanced pre-hospital care on emergency calls. You will assess patients, administer life-saving treatments, and coordinate transport to the appropriate facility.

You will work in a high-stakes environment with 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, under the Non-Exempt status. A signing bonus may be available during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Certification as Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (Massachusetts Department of Public Health).
• Licensed EMS professional with strong clinical assessment and lifesaving skills.
• Ability to perform advanced life support and rapid patient stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Administers skilled medical care in emergency calls per EMS protocols.
• Stabilizes patients at scene and during transport to facility.
• Maintains clear documentation and coordinates with dispatch and hospitals.
• Drives ambulance and ensures vehicle/equipment readiness.
• Adheres to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
