Job summary

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics to join our on-site medical team in Wisconsin. You will provide first aid through life-saving care, working in a dynamic mix of clinical and field work with both team-based and independent duties.

The position offers a pay range of $28.00-$31.00 per hour and requires an active EMT or Paramedic license, current BLS, and at least two years of emergency experience, including 911 experience.

Qualifications

• EMT or Paramedic licensure current in the applicable state.
• BLS certification current and valid.
• Minimum two years of emergency setting experience, such as ER or 911.
• 911 experience required.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to on-site medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and medical care per policy and guidelines.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine care steps.
• Communicate with medical professionals and facilities for follow-up.
• Engage with clients and site personnel about incidents and hazards.
• Stay aware of changing worksite conditions to mitigate risks.
• Document all patient assessments and treatments accurately.

What You'll Do:

• Respond quickly and effectively to on-site medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and medical care in compliance with federal, state, local, and company policies.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine the necessary course of action.
• Communicate effectively with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further instructions.
• Engage with clients and site personnel regarding workplace incidents and potential hazards.
• Stay aware of the constantly changing worksite environment to identify and mitigate risks.
• Maintain high clinical standards and ensure all care provided meets quality guidelines.
• Accurately document all patient assessments and treatments.
• Assist Site Safety Managers in promoting a safe and secure work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g., ER department or 911 ambulance service).
• 911 experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
