Job summary

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics to join our team. The role combines on-site medical care with a dynamic mix of clinical and field work, supporting workers' health and safety.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00–14:00 (30 hours/week) with pay ranging from $26 to $28 per hour. Applicants must hold an active EMT or Paramedic license, current BLS, and at least two years in an emergency setting, including 911 experience.

Qualifications

• Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g., ER or 911 ambulance).
• 911 experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and effectively to on-site medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and medical care per policies.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine course of action.
• Communicate with medical professionals for further instructions.
• Engage with clients and site personnel regarding incidents and hazards.
• Stay aware of changing worksite environment to mitigate risks.
• Maintain high clinical standards and documentation of assessments and treatments.
• Assist Site Safety Managers in promoting workplace safety.

As a CAREonsite EMT/Paramedic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of workers by providing basic first aid through life-saving medical care. This position offers a dynamic mix of clinical and field work, where you may be part of a team or working independently.

Schedule & Pay

• Schedule: M-F 0800 - 1400 (30 hours/ week)
• Pay Range: $26/ hour - $28/ hour

What You’ll Do

• Respond quickly and effectively to on-site medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and medical care in compliance with federal, state, local, and company policies.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine the necessary course of action.
• Communicate effectively with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further instructions.
• Engage with clients and site personnel regarding workplace incidents and potential hazards.
• Stay aware of the constantly changing worksite environment to identify and mitigate risks.
• Maintain high clinical standards and ensure all care provided meets quality guidelines.
• Accurately document all patient assessments and treatments.
• Assist Site Safety Managers in promoting a safe and secure work environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g., ER department or 911 ambulance service).
• 911 experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
