Medcor is seeking an EMT/Paramedic on a PRN basis (as-needed) to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in NYC Area. The typical hours are from 0600-0700 start to 1500-1900 end; weekends and overnight shifts are encouraged. Candidates should be comfortable working in a construction environment, able to climb stairs, and work at heights as needed.

Pay ranges from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience.

Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with medical and operational leadership, local providers, and client staff.
  • Provide patient care, manage workers’ compensation cases, facilitate Return to Work programs, and monitor treatment plans.
  • Work closely with outside medical providers.
Daily tasks:
  • Operate at Medcor’s onsite clinic.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to clients and employees.
  • Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses following Medcor’s protocols.
  • Build team relationships and support wellness initiatives.
  • Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
  • Document care using EMR and other tools.
  • Perform Physical Assessment Tests (PATs), case management, medical charting, and OSHA record-keeping.
Must-haves:
  • Passion for your work.
  • Valid licensure for the role.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:
  • Experience working in construction environments.
