Qualifications

• Current South Carolina EMT-Basic certification or higher
• Valid driver’s license issued by your state of residence
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the job

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment, treatment, and transportation for ill and injured patients in a courteous, professional manner
• Perform basic life support skills
• Keep the ambulance and equipment clean and in good operating condition
• Complete patient reports, service bills, and other required paperwork
• Attend regular in-service training, or provide documentation of DHEC-approved training completed elsewhere
• Help keep the base clean and orderly
• Follow all Freedom 1st policies, including appearance, grooming, and uniform standards
• Comply with all corporate compliance requirements
