Job summary

MedEx in North Carolina is expanding into South Carolina; we seek qualified EMTs/Paramedics to transport patients, provide care en route, and document care in the EHR. You will operate ambulances, maintain readiness and cleanliness, and support dispatch communications while meeting regulatory requirements.

Full-time roles offer comprehensive benefits after 90 days, including health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, holidays, and continued education opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current state EMT/Paramedic certification or ability to obtain one.
• Valid SC Driver’s License.
• Driving record in compliance with policy.
• Must be physically able to meet the demands of the position and pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients safely to medical appointments.
• Provides quality patient care en route to the facility.
• Documents medical care in the EHR system.
• Obtains necessary signatures and paperwork for each transport.
• Operates ambulance in compliance with state law and policies.
• Communicates with dispatch regarding location and patient status.
• Maintains ambulance readiness and cleanliness.
