Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH, seeks a Transport Driver to support the Transport Program and ambulance fleet. The role includes on-call hours and a $500 sign-on bonus; starting pay is $22 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include maintaining fleet safety, assisting with transport team planning, daily inspections, and documentation for state requirements. EMT-B or Intermediate certification is required; EVOC preferred.
$22/hr. Pay will commensurate with experience; $500 sign on bonus! The Bonus is Prorated based on your FTE!
Rotating Days & Nights (12-hour shifts), Every Third Weekend & Holiday Requirement, 36 hrs./week
Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Provides transportation and support to the Transport Program and fleet of ambulances. Assists in maintaining all requested department, state, and national data collection and records. On call hours required.
As required by listed licensure and/or certification requirement.
