Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Patient Transporter in Torrance, CA to support technologists by safely transporting patients to and from medical floors and the ER, helping keep on-time schedules and delivering exceptional service.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. A high school diploma and strong customer service skills are required; bilingual is preferred. DailyPay is available, and comprehensive benefits are offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Preferred: bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Greets and transports in-patients to and from medical floors and out-patients to and from changing rooms with a focus on delivering quality care and maintaining patients' safety.
• Helps the technologist stay on time by having the next patient ready before the current patient is ready to get off the table.
• Assists patients on and/or off table when requested by technologist.
• Pulls patient jackets for upcoming procedures.
• Assist in processing x-ray films.
• Digitizes films to assist in CR upgrade.
