Job summary

Monterey Park Hospital in the San Gabriel Valley (LA County) seeks a Transporter for the Radiology Department. This per diem, 8-hour day shift role reports to the Imaging Director/Supervisor and covers weekend shifts.

The transporter will move patients to care areas, assist ICU when needed, transfer dirty equipment to radiology, and help maintain HEPA filtration hospital-wide. Requirements include a current BLS from the American Heart Association and at least one year of acute care hospital

Qualifications

• Current BLS from the American Heart Association required.
• Minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to patient care units and accompany nursing staff during moves.
• Transport and clean dirty equipment from nursing units to radiology.
• Maintain HEPA filters hospital-wide.
