Job summary

Lakes Region EMS in Minnesota is seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for casual shifts in a fast-paced prehospital environment. You will assess patients, provide basic medical care, and transport to facilities while maintaining high professional standards.

The role requires current EMT certifications (NREMT/MN/WI), BLS, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening. Prior EMS experience is a plus. North Branch base location, competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

Lakes Region EMS is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance service with a mixed rural and urban service area just northeast of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team. As a casual EMT, you will play a crucial role in providing prehospital emergency medical care in a variety of settings, including accidents, medical emergencies, and interfacility transfers.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Current EMT certifications including NREMT, MN, and WI. Certifications are not required to apply; however, they are required for the role. If selected for a position, an offer would be contingent on obtaining each certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid driver's license
• The ability to pass a pre-employment screening that includes a drug test, health assessment (i.e., health history and physical/lift assessment, background check, including MedEx Complete, and motor vehicle record check
• Experience working in a pre-hospital emergency setting is a plus
