Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks an EMT-Intermediate to support Lincoln County Medical Center in Lincoln County, NM. You will operate ambulances, deliver baseline and intermediate life support, and coordinate with Paramedics on urgent transports.

You will perform meticulous documentation, assist with care on scene and during transit, and ensure compliance with licensing, safety and billing standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an EMT course.
• Current New Mexico EMT license and active BLS certification.
• Valid New Mexico driver's license and Medical Examiner's certification.
• Must meet NMDOT driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safe Patient Transport: maintain and operate emergency vehicles per policy and laws.
• Pre-Hospital Care: assist Paramedics delivering intermediate care on scene and en route.
• Operational Efficiency: minimize response and transport times.
• Quality Charting: document transports using RESCUE narratives for accuracy.
• Billing readiness and data collection to support compliance and continuity.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff on therapies initiated in the field.
