Job summary

Global Medical Response in Buellton, CA is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and provide high-quality care and customer service.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documenting information, operating with safety policies, and collaborating with other public safety personnel. Eligible candidates must have a CA EMT license, CPR, and a California driver’s license; this is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• CA Driver's License and Ambulance Driver's License from DMV.
• State EMT license for California and CPR Card (AHA HCP).
• K4 driving record (less than 30 days old) and IS-100/200/700/800 training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, determine required care and provide emergency services.
• Document patient information and protect confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and proper stock of supplies.
• Use EMT skills to care for patients and operate equipment safely.
• Assist in ambulance operations following safety policies and laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety teams.
