Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Santa Ynez, CA to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests and provide high-quality care and customer service. This position may include opportunities such as a Paramedic Scholarship after 12 months of full-time EMT employment.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, delivering emergency services, documenting care, and ensuring a safe, well-stocked environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CA Drivers' License and Ambulance Driver's License from DMV.
• State EMT certification in California.
• CPR Card (AHA Health Care Provider).
• K4 driving record (DMV) within 30 days.
• IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800 trainings referenced.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and deliver emergency medical services.
• Document patient information and protect confidentiality.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, safe patient environment.
• Use EMT skills including communications and equipment.
• Operate ambulance following safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with health and public safety personnel.
