Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a full-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA. The EMT will provide pre-hospital emergency medical care, assessment, treatment, and transportation in a safe and compassionate manner, responding to both emergency and non-emergency calls while delivering BLS care within scope.

Qualified candidates will have PA EMT certification with BCLS/CPR, a PA-approved EMT program, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication, documentation, critical thinking, and patient assessment skills.
• Minimum one year of experience as an active EMT preferred.
• Background clearances and EMS provider eligibility required.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing required.
• EMS Vehicle Operator certification (EMSVO) required.
• Current Pennsylvania EMT certification and BCLS/CPR certification required.
• Graduate of a Pennsylvania-approved EMT training program.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital emergency medical care and transportation services.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls; deliver Basic Life Support (BLS) within certification scope.
