Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a NJ-certified EMT with current Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
• Preference given to applicants with prior EMS experience and additional certifications (PHTLS and PEEP).
• Valid NJ driver’s license per Inspira Health Fleet Safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide prehospital care and transport per DOT, AHA, and NJ DEMS standards.
• Perform patient history, vitals, physical exam, trauma assessment, and basic life support.
• Manage airways, ventilate with BVM, and assist with pharmacological agents as permitted.
• Document EMS dispatches and patient care thoroughly using current charting formats.
• Participate in field triage and incident command in mass casualty incidents when required.
