Hebrew SeniorLife is seeking an EMT Dispatcher to coordinate and dispatch EMS to emergencies for a large senior community. The role requires calm, clear communication and swift decision making to ensure rapid response and high-quality care.
You will operate multiple dispatch and monitoring systems and work in shifts, including nights and weekends. Ideal candidates will have EMT certification, strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a service-oriented approach.

The EMT Dispatcher is a critical role in emergency medical services for a 162 acre, 800 + residents and patients, that involves coordinating and dispatching first responders to respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance. This role requires excellent communication, decision‑making, and organizational skills to ensure timely and effective response to emergencies; while providing boutique level services to our community. In addition, demonstrate a strong commitment to the philosophy and goals of the mission of Hebrew Senior Life and recognize members’ dignity and choice in aspects of daily life. High school diploma or equivalent (some agencies may require additional education). Proficient in using computer-aided dispatch systems and other communication tools like VoiceFriend. Strong multitasking abilities and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm during stressful situations. Knowledge of medical terminology and emergency response protocols. Ability to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight. Clean criminal background and drug screening Physical fitness and the ability to sit for extended periods.

Able to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time. Able to perform extensive walking patrols of the campus when needed.
