Atlantic Shores in Virginia Beach is seeking a certified EMT Security Guard to maintain a safe, secure environment for residents, visitors and staff. You will respond to alarms, assist nursing staff with resident safety, and conduct site and perimeter security rounds.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience, generous PTO, and a broad benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, tuition reimbursement and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Must be an EMT and CPR/AED certified.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to apartment alarms and emergencies per policy.
• Assist nursing staff in lifting residents to a safe position as needed.
• Perform site and perimeter security rounds and patrols.

It continues across campus with our own professional roving security staff and EMTs onsite available to respond to emergencies.Possible shifts include: 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am. The EMT Security Guard responds to apartment alarms/emergencies, assists nursing staff in lifting residents to a safe position, and performs site and perimeter security rounds.Education and/or Experience: High school education; or one year related experience and certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
