Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support pediatric patients under RN supervision. You will take vitals, assist in procedures, run EKGs, and help with specimen transport.

You will participate in rounds, maintain supplies, and help with discharge paperwork while ensuring accurate documentation and patient teaching. A background in pediatric care and required certifications are essential.

Formación

• EMT certification and active CPR/BLS throughout employment.
• CPI training within 45 days of hire and PALS within 2 years.
• Background check completed and EVOC/DL requirements met.
• Experience with pediatric/adolescent patient care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient care under RN direction; perform vitals and specimen handling.
• Deliver EKGs, assist in procedures, and support ventilated patients.
• Conduct rounds with RN/LPN for bedside handoffs and safety checks.
• Prepare discharge paperwork and school notes for families.
• Document observations, I&O, and teach patient/family as needed.
