Job summary

Loyola Medicine Transport is seeking EMTs to join a regional leader in healthcare, delivering compassionate care and improving lives across our communities. This full-time role supports Loyola University Medical Center and our three-hospital system.

You'll transport patients, participate in safe patient care, monitor equipment, and perform routine vehicle maintenance while enjoying benefits from day one and opportunities for career growth in a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Valid IDPH EMT Basic License and CPR/BLS
• Current Illinois State Driver's License
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Transport sick and/or injured patients to or between appropriate medical facilities and/or residence.
• Actively participate in the safe delivery of patient care and maintain a safe environment for all patients.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance check and cleaning.
• Replenish medical equipment and supplies.
• Monitor and properly operate all communications equipment to ensure efficient, constant, and appropriate contact with the communications department.
• Respond to all requests for service in an optimal manner and the priority of response as directed by the dispatcher.
