Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and to deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

As a part-time EMT, you will assess patients, provide emergency care, document information, and operate an ambulance in compliance with company safety policies. You will work with other health and safety professionals to deliver timely, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Driver's License is required.
• National or State EMT certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certifications are required.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test is required.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine necessary care; deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment with confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills with medical equipment and procedures.
• Operate an ambulance consistent with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
