Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health is seeking a compassionate EMT-Basic to provide essential pre-hospital care and emergency medical assistance. The EMT-B will respond to 911 calls, assess patient conditions, perform basic life support, and assist in patient transport and transfer.

This role requires strong communication, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a commitment to patient care, with duties ranging from vehicle maintenance to accurate documentation and collaboration with external agencies.

Qualifications

• Must be a Texas-licensed EMT-B with CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Prior emergency care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to 911 and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day.
• Provides direct patient care per protocols and medical director guidance.
• Operates emergency vehicles and ensures vehicle/equipment readiness.
• Completes patient care reports, billing information, and documentation timely.
• Interacts with police, fire, and first responders while maintaining professionalism.
• Adheres to policies and participates in NEOP process before staffing a truck.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
