Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health is hiring EMT-Basics to provide essential pre-hospital care and emergency medical assistance. You respond to 911 calls, assess patient conditions, and perform basic life support while assisting in patient transport and transfer.

You must communicate effectively, stay calm under pressure, and adhere to Medical Director's protocols. The role requires driving in varied conditions and working in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas EMT certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• PHTLS or ITLS training preferred.
• Ability to read, write and interpret instructions in English.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous emergency care experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Responds to 911 calls and provides pre-hospital care per protocols.
• Assesss patient conditions and deliver basic life support as needed.
• Operates emergency vehicles and follows traffic laws.
• Communicates with dispatch, EMS teams and first responders as required.
• Completes patient care reports and billing information promptly.
• Maintains vehicle readiness and supplies; performs decontamination when needed.
