Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduation or GED with specialized EMS coursework.
• EMT-Basic and South Carolina/National Registry certifications required.
• CPR, ITLS and PEPP certifications required or maintained.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive ambulance to emergency calls and coordinate with incident resources.
• Provide basic life support and transport patients to facilities.
• Perform CPR, wound care, vital signs, airway management as certified.
• Document run reports and maintain equipment and vehicle readiness.
• Respond to public inquiries and assist with general clerical duties as needed.
