Advocate Health is seeking an EMS provider in Monroe, NC to respond to emergencies, operate EMS vehicles and equipment, and document medical incidents in accordance with regulations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, EMT certification, and current state credentials; BLS CPR and PHTLS preferred.

This 40-hour per week position offers comprehensive benefits and a pay range of $21.85 to $32.80 per hour, with opportunities for shift pay and annual increases based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EMT certification required.
• Current state EMT certification and BLS CPR; National Registry preferred.
• Degree in EMS-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests for service and performs medical care per state regulations and protocols.
• Operates EMS vehicles and equipment safely.
• Uses agency communications equipment to talk with dispatchers, physicians and nurses.
• Prepares detailed medical, operational and incident reports.
• Maintains vehicles, equipment and supplies per guidelines.
• Keeps facilities and grounds clean and professional.
• Participates in staff meetings and EMS community education.
