Job summary

Heartland Ambulance in Indiana is seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for full-time roles. You will perform emergency medical care, patient assessment and transport, while upholding patient confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, basic life support, inventory management, and meticulous cleaning of ambulances and equipment. Candidates must meet state EMT certification, CPR, and driving-standards requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have valid State EMT certification
• Current CPR certification (Classes offered for free)
• Current and valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• No more than 2 accidents & moving violations in the last 3 yrs

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of ambulances and other company equipment.
• Basic life support treatment and transportation of sick and injured persons.
• Providing emergency medical treatment,
• Prepares inventories and stocks supplies and inspects equipment for proper operation.
• Cleans and disinfects interior of ambulance. Cleans and details exterior of ambulance. Cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness and proper stocking of the ambulance, company vehicles, equipment, office, lounge, and bathrooms.
• Must be able to safely lift, transfer and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, residences and other locations.
