Job summary

Heartland Ambulance in Indiana seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to perform emergency medical care, patient assessment and transport, while upholding confidentiality and protocols. The role requires EMT and CPR certifications, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED.

The candidate must be 18+ with clean driving history and a strong work ethic. As an EMT, you will support basic life support operations, assist in patient care, and help maintain equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Must have valid State EMT certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No more than 2 accidents & moving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of ambulances and other company equipment.
• Basic life support treatment and transportation of sick and injured persons.
• Providing emergency medical treatment.
• Prepares inventories and stocks supplies and inspects equipment for proper operation.
• Cleans and disinfects interior of ambulance. Cleans and details exterior of ambulance. Cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness and proper stocking of the ambulance, company vehicles, equipment, office, lounge, and bathrooms.
• Must be able to safely lift, transfer and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, residences and other locations.

Emergency Medical Technician ( EMT )

Our EMT's are a vital part of our business. In this role, you will be responsible for the proper and ethical treatment of patients. You will provide emergency medical care, patient assessment and care, transport services, and other services while respecting confidentiality rules, following protocols, and practicing professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS:
