Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B) in Rochester, New York for full-time roles. EMTs respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and patient-focused service to those in need.

Starting pay is $20.80 per hour and up based on experience, with additional weekend differential of $3 per hour and night differential of $1 per hour. AMR/GMR values safety, teamwork, and professional care across all shifts.

Qualifications

• State EMT-B certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT) required.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance.
• Provide high-quality care, treatment, and patient service.
• Assess patients and determine appropriate care.
• Document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
• Work with allied health and public safety personnel.

We are currently offering a three dollar differential for weekend shifts and a one dollar differential for night shifts!

We’rehiringEmergency Medical Technicians(EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, andtreatmentwhile maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in providinga safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriateskills to provide care includingcommunications, medicalequipment, cleaningprocedures, office equipment, and tools.
• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Driver’s License
• State EMT certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare is preferred
