Job summary

140 Floyd Healthcare Management, Inc. is seeking a full-time EMT for Floyd EMS - Ambulance Services to care for ill and injured patients in Georgia.

You will provide patient care under Medical Control, maintain vehicle readiness, and ensure accurate charting and documentation within the medical record system. Requirements include NC EMT certification, BCLS, and a valid driver's license with driving training completed promptly.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Current NC EMT certification required.
• SC EMT-B and National Registry EMT certifications preferred at time of hire; must be maintained.
• BCLS required and trauma certification within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license and driving course within first week of hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes skills checks in a timely manner with accuracy.
• Maintains base cleanliness and vehicle readiness; restocks supplies.
• Documents patient care accurately and files in medical records.
• Delivers quality patient care per policies and state regulations.
• Follows guidelines when Medical Control is not available.
• Assists with public relations and marketing activities as needed.
• Drives in accordance with policy and adjusts to schedule changes.
