Job summary

Atrium Health in Georgia seeks a part-time EMT-B to join the 36215 Floyd EMS - Ambulance Services team for non-emergency passenger transport and patient care under Medical Control. PRN shifts may include some nights, with strict adherence to certifications and competency checks.

You will keep vehicles ready, document care accurately, and follow safety guidelines while supporting department duties and occasional public outreach.

Qualifications

• EMT-B certification required.
• Maintains required EMT licensure and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Completes skills check in a timely manner with accuracy.
• Maintains vehicles in a mission ready status and restocks/cleans at shift start.
• Documents patient care accurately in the medical record.
• Provides quality patient care and education per policies and state regulations.
• Follows safety guidelines and ensures seat belts are worn.
• Drives in accordance with Atrium Health policy and state/local regulations.
• Assists with public relations and marketing activities when needed.
• Maintains vehicle assignments per department needs.
