Job summary

Community Ambulance Bibb County is seeking a dedicated EMT provider to join our mission-driven team. You will perform initial patient assessment, administer treatment within Georgia EMS scope, and securely transport patients to receiving facilities.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential. Qualified candidates hold a Georgia EMT license, a high school diploma, and at least 2 years of licensed driving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Georgia EMT license required.
• Minimum of 2 years as a licensed driver with a clean MVR.
• Must be able to lift 180 lbs and assist with patient transport.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the image and reputation of the System through servant leadership and communication.
• Participates in committees, workgroups, and project management.
• Arrives on time at the designated station and remains able to perform duties.
• Responds to calls and maintains two-way communication with CMED during shifts.
• Provides safe and efficient transport and continuing care within scope of practice.
• Completes all required documentation before end of shift.
• Maintains ambulance readiness and compliance with Georgia rules and EMS protocols.
