Job summary

MEMS is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide care for emergency and non-emergency patients and support Paramedics in life-saving procedures. The role involves operating EMS vehicles, transporting patients, and coordinating with EMS systems.

Applicants must hold Arkansas EMT certification, National Registry license, and BLS Level C, with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Starting salary and benefits are provided; orientation begins in January.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Arkansas State EMT Certification.
• Must have a current National Registry EMT License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Minimum age of 19.
• Must be physically fit and able to pass a physical examination.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. This is a safety-sensitive position.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• American Heart BLS Level C.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to emergency and non-emergency patients.
