Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; EMT-B licensure with IV certification or EMT-I licensure.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with card in-hand before start date; card valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures as delegated, including establishing IV access, collecting specimens, wound care, and transporting patients.
• May perform ECGs and vital statistics/telemetry monitoring.
• Assists physicians and nurses with medical procedures, including examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic treatment, and resuscitation.
• Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in patient conditions to medical/nursing staff.
• Assists with patient flow and keeping rooms clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Operate in fast-paced environment with critical thinking, decisive judgement, and minimal supervision.
