Job summary

UCHealth in Greeley, CO, is seeking a full-time EMT to provide emergent and urgent patient care under supervision. The role is an onsite, night shift position requiring a HS diploma and EMT licensure with BLS certification.

Responsibilities include IV access, specimen collection, wound care, ECGs, and assisting with procedures. Schedule is full time (72 hours per pay period) with a pay range $19.10–$24.83 per hour, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: HS Diploma or GED.
• Licensure: BLS Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certs as determined at position level.
• Current State Licensure as an EMT with IV certification, or EMT-I.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures as delegated, including IV access, specimen collection, wound care, and patient transport.
• May perform ECGs and vital signs/telemetry monitoring.
• Assist physicians and nurses with procedures and resuscitation.
• Maintain patient flow, room cleanliness, and stock levels.
• Respond to changes in patient condition with appropriate action.
